About Elisabeth
I’m a psychotherapist by profession, which means I spend my days paying close attention to people. The work is meaningful, and it can be heavy — you make your living inside other people’s difficult moments.
A plant asks nothing of you.
This turns out to be exactly what I need, and what I hope you find here too: a moment of quiet attention, where something ordinary becomes unexpectedly alive.
I will graduate from the New York Botanical Garden’s certification program in Botanical Illustration in the spring of 2027.
I work in graphite, pen and ink, and colored pencil — media that reward patience and precision. Watercolor, with its tendency to wander wherever it pleases, keeps me humble.
